Common Point, Inc. announced today the 2008- Release 1 of its Common Point Platform

Release 1 offers the following NEW features:

  1. Ability for PDMS CAD Adapter to break Steel into “sections”
  2. Ability for PDMS CAD Adapter to convert subset data
  3. The EDI facility to streamline CAD, ISO, and Line List data gathering
  4. A new Geometry-From-ISO and ISO-CAD Alignment Solution
  5. MCs (Managed Commands) that provide History folder cleanup, and automatically archive the VPM after data processing
  6. Node Level Version Controller capability for Annotation and Markups, Bookmarks, and User Defined Groups

Release 1 offers the following IMPROVED features:

  1. Performance of PDMS CAD Adapter
  2. Ability for PDS CAD Adapter to convert additional shapes
  3. The set up of PowrTrak projects using the Setup Utility
  4. Added NAME to Component Attributes for IDF ISO Adapter
  5. Consolidation of components with the same ComponentID
  6. Ability to optionally create history folders for all MCs
  7. Updated “Zachry Work Details Status” MC
  8. Status Visualization now warns the user of incorrect values in records

Release 1 offers the following FIXES to current features:

  1. Crash in Tree Control due to Out of Resource
  2. Bug in PDMS CAD Adapter for geometry type “Pyramid”
  3. Correction of issues in spool breaks, connectivity, Tee-Set-Ons
  4. Bug fixes for disconnections with small gaps, and INSTRUMENT-BALLOON issue
  5. Bug with loading geometry after spool mapping
  6. Bug fixes for Setup Utility
  7. Bug fixes for Version Controller

Release 1 REMOVES the following features:

  1. IViewCAD ISO-CAD Alignment solution
