Common Point Hires New VP for Sales and Marketing

 

Andy Osborne to head Sales and Marketing Team

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.  – November 1, 2006 - Common Point, Inc. announced today the hiring of Andy Osborne as their Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  Mr. Osborne has been involved in the process industries for over 29 years, the last 25 in the sales and marketing of engineering software. An engineer background, Mr. Osborne began his career with Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI Plc) where he first realized the potential of the use of technology to streamline engineering work processes. Since then Mr. Osborne has worked for companies deploying technologies in areas such as as-built data capture, CAD, document management, information management and process plant design including solutions for FEED, detailed design, fabrication and construction and operations and maintenance. Most recently, Mr. Osborne was providing Sales and Marketing consultancy to companies following his tenure as Commercial Director for Alias Limited, manufacturers of ISOGEN, I-Sketch and SPOOLGEN.
